• Question: the internet is a lot bigger, and better than it used to be. do you think it has affected your life as an engineer

      Yes, yes it has. The internet is an almost endless source of information and helps people stay connected at all times. It means I can do more in less time since the answers are pretty much at my fingertips.

      Definitely, like Andrei says, it makes it a lot easier to look things up, not just for official reference, but you can also find answers to questions that loads of other engineers have already found and solved, like Stack Overflow where people ask and answer questions about writing code.

      The other thing is of course that my company sells access to a web platform, which uses cloud computing, so without the growth of internet technology, my business would even be possible.

      Great question! Until recently, I’ve actually found it harder to find specific bits of information with the internet being a lot bigger. Search engines like Google have now caught up with the expansion of the internet and it’s now much easier to find things 🙂
