I’m not very good at drawing shapes and models or envisioning them in my mind. That sounds silly but it is a big part of an engineer’s job to build CAD models and make sure things fit together. I really struggled in these types of classes at Uni. Even now, when I have to design a wind tunnel, I struggle to make a 3D model of it to help the manufacturer build what I envision. That’s something I’m still working on.

For me, the hardest part was choosing which degree to do. I couldn’t decide between Physics and Engineering at first.

My biggest challenge was public talking. I’m awful at it but have worked hard to be more confident at giving presentations. I regularly have to present my work to the design team and it gets a little easier every time 🙂
