• Question: Do you ever wish you done something differently at the start of your job?

      Good question. I don’t think so, apart from wearing a tie on my first day – no-one in F1 wears a tie!

      That’s a tricky one 🙂 I don’t have any major regrets!

      My first engineering job was in Edinburgh and I decided to perform at the Edinburgh tattoo as well as having a day time job. The tattoo is basically a show in Edinburgh castle every evening. I was so exhausted in my first few weeks of work that I actually fell asleep in a few security briefings. Thankfully nobody noticed though!

      I think work-life balance is difficult to get right with any job. It just takes a bit of time to figure things out.

      I don’t think so – everyone takes their own path to figure out what makes them happy.
